Our selective cutting practices promote future growth.
We select the larger mature trees and by doing so creates pockets for younger trees to flurish. We are careful not to damage surrounding trees when felling the harvest material, but there is always callteral damage. To reduce waste and preserve the surroundings we collect the damaged trees and scale them for use where appropriate. This includes small logs, pulp, biomass and firewood.
